Researching and exploration

This document outlines the steps for researching and exploring media production methods representing convergence. Researchers should: 1) Clarify their research areas and generate hypotheses about 2 contemporary and 2 historical methods; 2) Conduct secondary research to understand the methods and primary research to gather audience feedback; 3) Experiment with the methods, documenting their findings in production logs to assess strengths/weaknesses. Proper documentation of the research process and conclusions drawn is important.
