- 1. Risk Assessment Equipment Hazard Resolution Advert No.1 and 2 Cars Some of the footagewill be captured on road surfaces which cars can travel on, creates risk of people getting knocked by cars. To prevent this wewill only film on the road surface when it is clear from all directions of moving vehicles and will move to the side of the road if a vehicle approach’s. Forestation There may be branches and fallen forest debris whichpeople could trip up on or fall over. Moving any debris, which could prove to be hazards, to a safe distance before filming, can prevent this. Tripod If the tripod is not assembled and put up properly there willbe a risk of it falling over and possibly landing on someone or becoming a trip hazard. In order to prevent this I will ensure that the tripod is assembled in the correctmanor and that there is a clear path around it to avoid any possible hazards. Location Aspects of the location could prove to show hazards to personnel as objects around could prove to be harmful, for example there could be glass nearby or large stones. To ensure that things within the location harm no one I willscout it out before filming or shooting takes place. Pedestrians Passing pedestrians could collide with personnel during shooting whocould cause harm to both the pedestrian and the personnel involved. I will keep an eye out for any passing pedestrians throughout the process of filming if any pedestrians should come towards the path in whichwe will be filming then filming will stop briefly until it is clear. Animals Some of the locations, whichwe will be filming, could contain animals such as dogs withtheir walkers, cowsand perhaps rabbits (park and forest locations). These animals could react to the filming process and people being around them, this could startle personnel and scar the animals, therefore we will keep a distance and stop filming when near any animals.
