Aimi Aizal Nasharuddin graduated from Bendigo College of
Advanced Education, Victoria, Australia in 1989 with a
Bachelor of Business degree. He began his career in 1989
in Arthur Andersen & Co (“AA”) as an audit assistant. In
January 1993, he was promoted Experienced Senior (Audit
& Financial Consultancy) and later joined CIMB in July 1993
as an Executive in the Corporate Finance and Capital
Market division and was promoted to Assistant Manager in
June 1994 and later in June 1995 he was promoted to
Senior Manager. He co-founded ACIF, a company then
involved in the provision of corporate and business advisory
services in 1996. He co-founded SKALI in 1997 together
with Tengku Farith and Maznida Mokhtar and was
responsible of the strategic vision, and overall management
of SKALI.
