BEHAVIORAL EXPECTATIONS
• Our goal is to establish a positive environment
that will facilitate growth in all areas of a
student’s life, and will build on the foundation
that’s been laid at home.
• We believe you have chosen to attend Trevecca
because it is a Christian college offering you an
education based on Christian beliefs and
perspectives.
• The University takes a strong stand
against pre-marital or extra-marital sexual
activity
• The University takes a strong stand
against the use and/or possession of illicit
drugs, alcohol, and tobacco
• The University cooperates fully with local
authorities in the case of theft or any other
unlawful acts
Possible Disciplinary Procedures
• Fines
• Restitution and/or Reconciliation
(financial, community service)
• Restrictions and/or Sanctions
• Social probation
• Suspension
• Dismissal
Sexual Harassment
Unwelcomed conduct of a sexual nature
Examples:
• Unwelcome sexual advances
• Requests for sexual favors
• Other verbal, nonverbal, or physical
conduct of a sexual nature, such as sexual
assault or acts of sexual violence
Sexual Violence
Physical sexual acts perpetrated against a
person’s will or where a person is incapable of
giving consent (e.g., due to the student’s age or
drug/alcohol use, or because an intellectual or
other disability prevents the student from
having the capacity to give consent).
• -i.e.- rape, sexual assault, sexual battery and
sexual coercion

CAMPUS DRESS CODE
• TNU stresses “Christian simplicity” which is
characterized by modesty, neatness and
cleanliness in dress and overall appearance
• Not permitted:
– Short skirts/shorts
– Bare midriff/cleavage
– Leggings with inappropriate length tops
(must cover backside)
– Muscle shirt/ “Bro tank” top
– Tight athletic wear/biking shorts/Spandex
