This study examined the gap between preservice teachers' technological knowledge and skills versus their confidence in using technology for classroom instruction. Twenty-six preservice teachers participated. They completed two surveys - one to measure their proficiency with technology and one to measure their confidence in integrating specific technologies into teaching. The study aimed to determine how to better support preservice teachers in enhancing their technology use for student teaching.
