Title of my film

- 2. Reason for TitleI chose “ Silent tears” as my film title because in the opening Varusni ( female character) will be crying in true silence. With no sound what so ever coming from her mouth. Though this is not just it. Another reason for the choice of my title is because “ Silent tears” symbolises the girls life it self, how it goes in silence with so much pain that she cannot express it to any one else. It came from the phrase “ I cry silent tears under the romance of the rain”.
- 3. Colour of TitlingThe colour of the title will be pure white with a mixture of red as it will be floating and moving with the movement of the water. The reason for my choice of colours was based on the responses i had from the questionnaire when i asked what colour they would expect the tile of the romance film to be. Three said white, five said red and two said blue So i analysed over all that the title of my opening should be in red with a mixture of white because white and red were the choices that was mostly expected to be the film opening title colour by them. Red stands for danger, romance and white stands for purity and innocent. Red stands for danger as well as romance its because the way romance pulled her into a situation that was dangerous overall is symbolised by the colour choices for the titling. Example =>Silent Tears

- 5. Reason for choice of charactersI chose Ssam as the male character because he was one of my friends who lived near by and is willing to give up some of his spare time to do photo graphing. As he isn’t actually acting in the main film opening it self i will only need him on a certain day to take pictures which then will be put in my film opening near to the end and preferably on the very beginning by the menu. I chose Varusni as my main female character for the opening because she is very fare and cute. Also she is capable of changing characters within so it will be useful.

Reason for choice of locationReason for choosing Nando’s:I chose Nando’s as the location to do the beginning of my filming because its one of the restaurants that mostly couples go to on a date or just a link up and as my film opening it self is to do with love/dating i thought locating it in a location that is well known by teenagers will be a good choice.
- 7. Reason for choosing the high-street path: I choose the high-street path because i wanted a road that had benches and trees on each side with shops and people all over the place. This is because in my opening on the road i will be emphasising her emotions that she cannot hold and i will need to shoot not only her but the things around her as well. And for this reason the High-street paths is a excellent location.
- 8. Reason for choosing the pond on high-street: the reason why i choose the pond on high-street was because firstly i wanted everything to be location on one setting so that the shooting is done easily. Secondly the pond on high-street is used by ducks and the appearance of that creates a very good romantic image which i could use and apply for my own film opening. As the film opening will end here i would want it to stand out from the scene as it will have the title floating on top of it. I will create this floating effect using computer software.
- 9. Plot of my openingA young, kind, attractive girl called Helena is pulled by the force of love into an un-predictable life situation where her dreams hopes all are shattered by one text message. Being a very shy and soft girl makes her stand out in a very busy crowded Restaurant. Yet she doesn’t know how her life will go on after that un predictable situation she was pulled in. Her emotions force her to break down yet she is fighting through it alone with strength and hope! Love meant a lot to this young girl, though Helena never knew the consequences of pain if something went wrong and not according to plan. Later on as Helena learns to accept that life closes a door for a reason and will open a new door for a new start and bright future.
- 10. Choice of Music The reason why i choose “ Fight for this Love” by Cheryl Cole is because that song is aimed at teenage trend. And as my film opening is also aimed at teenagers ages 16-18 i would think that this song would be suitable."Fight for This Love" is the debut solo single by British recording artist Cheryl Cole .Initially it was released in the United Kingdom and Ireland as the lead single on 16 October 2009 by fascination records however, in 2010 it was also released in Europe as the album's second single through universal music. The up tempo/RnB-styled pop song, was written and produced by an American song writing team consisting of Steve Kipper, Wayne Wilkins and Andre Merrit.

This style will engage with the audience and also have a impact on girls aged between 16-18 because that’s how they would normally dress when they go out to meet their beloved lover.

- 14. Target AudienceMy Target audience mainly are Female aged between 16-18. I analysed this through my Questionnaire. I worked out that mostly 16-18 year olds preferred Romantic drama. There was this link between female who were 16-18 who preferred Romantic drama. So when I looked back from Romantic drama I could see that this is what it was linked to. Female16-18Romantic Drama
- 15. RepresentationMy film opening will be representing girls between the age of 16-18 who fall in deep love with that one Boy who they think is their everything, they begin to plan and dream about their future together with him. But sooner or later they find out he was cheating them with another girl or was the wrong one they break into pieces. This situation is very common between the age 16-18 because that is the age where girls begin to take love as a serious matter and that's also the age where they begin to plan their future without a steady ground because their heart tells them he is the one till they die. The hard time that they go through at the beginning after he has left them there suffering is what I will be representing in my own film opening.
- 16. IdeologyThe ideology of my film opening is to girls ages between 16-18 , dreaming about something as small as love can not always go by plan. Falling in love is nothing but is who you choose that matters. Just cause he looks smart and is well educated doesn’t always mean he is perfect. Even within a person who is perfect there can always be something that is not right about him. So do not fall for the word love by just choosing him from the appearance choose someone from the inside and also don’t dream to much about being with him for ever cause not everything goes by plan and if what you dream doesn’t go by plan that pain is high.
- 17. Moral messageElder people say for a reason not to fall in love just yet cause they know how much pain it can bring if something as little as a lie can break some one’s heart. The moral message of my Film opening is that you shouldn’t dream and plan ahead once you found the love. Because you don’t exactly know when and how life changes your path. Hiding your emotions away will not do any good for your self, eventually the memories will over take your thoughts and feelings. So just don’t fall in love hoping to marry him because if you don’t then you will be broken into bits and pieces.
