- 1. A very wide shot is used. Shallow focus is used; this makes the background very flat. Opening shot. A ‘bleach bypass’ is used over this shot to wash over certain tones and create a less bright tone and make it more saturated. His clothes are very dark this connotes danger or darkness. The acting is natural and this makes the storyline more convincing for the audience. This shot isn’t as wide; this captures the singer’s emotions. Shallow focus is still used and creates a flat background. Slow cutting rhythm is used; this shows the emotion through the slow paced cuts The singer is sat in the same position but the shot is zoomed in, this means the audience can see less of the background, however, shallow focus is still used
