This document discusses improving leadership skills through emotional intelligence and leadership styles. It introduces six leadership styles: visionary, coaching, affiliative, democratic, pacesetting, and commanding. Activities have participants identify their own style and notice styles in others. While all styles can be effective depending on the situation, visionary and coaching styles tend to have the most positive impact on team climate, while pacesetting and commanding may have negative impacts if overused. Developing emotional intelligence is key to leadership, and participants are invited to reflect on what they learned.
