Professor of Religious Studies. Note that courses in religion and religious studies are very different. The first are an effort to strengthen the student in a particular tradition; the second has no interest in either enhancing or minimizing a student's faith. My interest is teaching students how to listen with respect and openness to people who hold very different views.
