OK folks, we're nearing the end of Black Friday here in New York, so I've be going through all of the deals we've rounded up on this page to pull any that are out of stock or that are no longer on sale, and I've already found quite a few of them. Hopefully none of them were the exact deal you were waiting for, but it is a sign that some retailers are looking to either pivot to Cyber Monday, or that a particular laptop deal has come to its natural end.
There are less than two hours left for Black Friday on the East Coast, so if you've been holding off on any deals you've seen, it's perfectly fine to wait or even walk away if it's not in your budget or if you're questioning whether you really need a new laptop right now.

It's worth noting that we're into the final stretch of Black Friday on the East Coast of the US, with about two and a half hours left before Black Friday officially ends. Fortunately, even though some deals will turn back into metaphorical pumpkins at midnight, many offers will remain live into Saturday and even Sunday—though some retailers will typically end a sales price over the weekend at some point, only to offer a new, and possibly better, laptop deal for Cyber Monday.

If you want the absolute cheapest MacBook deal in the entirety of Black Friday sales, it's the M1 MacBook Air. It's not the most powerful entry in the lineup, but it still holds up surprisingly well for productivity work, everyday browsing, and kicking back to watch a movie.

Many of us will be contemplating an upgrade to a new computer this Black Friday, especially in the ruinous wake of Windows 10's End of Life last month. If you're still using a laptop that's running Windows 10 (or worse, an even older version of Windows), then you'll be missing out on important security and functionality updates - but now's the perfect time to upgrade.
