I love my reMarkable 2 so this is my number one deal for Black Friday and Cyber Monday and every business pro should own one
This reMarkable 2 Black Friday & Cyber Monday deal is still my top pick for business professionals, delivering the best writing experience I've had this side of a pad and pen
If there was one device I couldn't live without, it's the reMarkable 2. This lightweight digital note-taking tablet is my go-to gadget for making notes, sketching, writing, plotting, mind-mapping. Everything.
And right now, the the reMarkable 2 with Marker Plus and a polymer weave folio case is $499 on reMarkable's official website (down from $578). In the UK, the price for the same configuration is £479 (was £548). It's at the same link as above.
I spent months researching handwriting tablets before pulling the trigger on buying one. And although there's plenty of competition in the digital notebook arena - most recently from Amazon with its Scribe device - nothing comes close to the reMarkable 2 for me.
That nano-textured e-ink display has delivered the best handwriting experience you can get without using a pad and pen (analog note-taking, if you will). And the handwriting recognition is probably the best of the bunch, transforming my spidery handwritten notes into usable text I can paste into a word processor.
If you're anything like me, weighing down your desk, bag, shelves, and any other surface with notebooks, this is the ideal solution. It's miraculously thin and lightweight, ideally suited for the home, office, and business travel. And for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, now's the best time to grab one. It is also on sale over at Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk, but you'll get more folio options when visiting the reMarkable website.

This bundle is for the reMarkable 2 tablet, alongside a polymer weave folio case and the more premium Marker Plus which includes an eraser at one end. To my mind, both are essential for business use. Also includes 9 replacement pen tips. The display measures 1.3in.
As I say, I spent a long time researching the various kinds of handwriting tablets before opting for the reMarkable 2. And there are a number of reasons why I chose it.
For one thing, the writing experience is excellent. Coming from jotting notes and doodling on a glossy glass tablet, I was a little skeptical. But the textured e-ink screen really is as close to writing on real paper as I could imagine. As an old-fashioned scribbler, I've really appreciated this.
Second, the size. This device is impressively thin and lightweight. I've found it's the perfect complement for business travel - although I strongly advise getting either the folio case or sleeve for extra protection.
Third, the handwriting recognition is a great way to transform handwriting notes into usable text. Alright, it's hit and miss depending on how neat your handwriting it, but mine's like a spidery scrawl at times and it still picks up what I was trying to write.
Finally, "reMarkable" is probably the best pun in tech, so I couldn't resist.
All in all, I couldn't be happier with it. To my mind, it's a must-buy for professionals. Just make sure to get the case and opt for the Marker Plus pen, which has an eraser at one end just like a pencil. If you get the standard Marker, erasing your writing means you need to highlight the offending text inside a box then selecting the delete option, which disrupts the writing flow. The Paper Pro is a color upgrade on the reMarkable 2 with an 11.8in display. It includes the Marker Plus and if you select a book folio case, you'll get the Black Friday discount (there are three to choose from, but the cheapest is the polymer weave in the US and the mosaic weave in the UK). It also bundles in 6 replacement pen tips.

There are a number of Kindle Scribe's discounted for Black Friday, but the 16GB model is the cheapest right now and includes a pen. The mono display measures 10.2in, so ever-so-slightly smaller than the reMarkable 2. I strongly recommend buying a case for protection during travel.

Boox offers a range of digital notepads of various sizes, but this one gets one of the biggest price-cuts for Black Friday. It has a 10.3in color e-ink display with wide support for a range of filetypes. The thick left-side bezel reminds me of the original reMarkable 1 tablet.

If you want a larger workpad for notes, this is a good pick since it features a 13.3in e-ink display. Like the reMarkable 2, it's monochrome, with broad filetype support.
