This is a great time to buy an Amazon Kindle. Cyber Monday deal have dropped the price on every Amazon e-reader to all-time lows, without exception. If you're new to Kindle, start with the Kindle Paperwhite for $124.99 at Amazon in the US or £134.99 on Amazon in the UK. It's durable enough that you can splash it at the beach and it will last for weeks on a single charge, even if you read a bit every day.

Even the new Kindle Colorsoft gets a big discount for the first time this Cyber Monday, and my favorite full-color Kindle is now $169.99 on Amazon in the US and £164 on Amazon in the UK. I loved reading graphic novels on the color display, but once I saw my book covers in full color, I could never go back to a bland grey and white Kindle.

Amazon Kindle
Amazon Kindle: was $109.99 now $79.99 at Amazon

This is a great deal for Amazon's most basic Kindle, the lowest price since this Kindle was updated more than a year ago. It isn't water resistant, so you'll need to take more care by the pool, but it can still hold dozens of books, it lasts weeks on a single charge, and it can even play Audible Audiobooks. I still love this Kindle for its simplicity, especially if most of your books and audiobooks are on Amazon's library already.

The Amazon Kindle Paperwhite is the Kindle most people should buy. It is durable, with IP68 water resistance that can withstand even sand and a splash of salt water at the beach. I was able to read for hours a day for more than a week with a single battery charge, and listening to Audible audiobooks is also a joy. This is the lowest price I've ever seen on the latest Kindle Paperwhite, so don't hesitate if you want to read a lot of books on the go.

There's wireless charging, which is especially convenient if you read a ton and just want to grab and go before and after bed. You'll need a charging stand, but any wireless charger works fine. You also get a bit more storage inside, so if you're an especially avid reader or you have a ton of audiobooks, this is the way to go. This is the lowest price ever on the Signature model Paperwhite.

Once you've seen the Kindle Colorsoft it's almost impossible to go back. The full color Kindle was a blast to read in my review time, and it has remained the Kindle I keep by my bedside. I love graphic novels, recipe books, and even just perusing my long Kindle library to see the full color covers. This is the first big price break on the new Kindle Colorsoft, and it's sitting at the lowest price I've seen since it launched around a year ago.

The Amazon Kindle Scribe is a fantastic writing tablet that also happens to be the biggest Kindle e-reader you can buy. It's great for reading, doodling, taking notes, journaling, and much more. There's an entire section of the Kindle store devoted to books you can write in with the Kindle Scribe, including crossword puzzle books, journal helpers, and many more. This is the best price for the Scribe with 32GB of storage inside, which is plenty for most folks (though the green color requires a storage upgrade).

I had to include this fantastic green Kindle Scribe 64GB (2024) deal because this is one of the most gorgeous tablets I've ever used, Kindle or otherwise. Besides the color, I love the capabilities, including Amazon's intuitive handwriting recognition that uses AI to great effect (and not for evil, thank you). This is the lowest price on the Scribe 64GB upgrade, and if you want that green color you need to buy the Scribe with more storage. But wait, the Essentials bundle gives you a matching faux leather cover, and it really is worth a look below...
