Great all-around experience
I am continuously impressed with the high quality of Ajax Systems in all aspects.
The hardware and firmware are high end, do what they are supposed to and remain reliable under different weather conditions (unlike other brands I've tried). The over-the-wire updates are frequent (although not too frequent) and always go smooth. Installation and setup is very easy. I also love the ability to connect it to legacy, wired systems.
The application UI is user-friendly and relatively snappy.
I am also excited by the continuously expanding portfolio of devices, while keeping the same quality and user-friendliness. I haven't tried the Video & Surveillance products yet (but hopefully will soon).
I happened to reach out to their Tech Support recently and they didn't disappoint. Even though I didn't get the answer I wanted (it was about a missing feature, for which there's no ETA), their turn-around was super quick (they responded in a matter of minutes) and their responses where technically accurate and to the point (no generic "try restarting your router" playbook junk that you usually get).

Hello,
We replaced our nearly 25-year-old system with Ajax. While the first system worked via phone and SIM card, the Ajax system works via the internet. The entire system inside our home is wired.
I noticed a few things that should be improved:
I don't have the ability to be informed, unlike with the old system, if a door or window is open when the alarm is activated. You have to walk around the house to check that the doors and windows are properly closed.
Furthermore, it's not possible to select the parts of the home you want to protect.
Be careful, if you make a mistake willing to modify program management, you can't reload the information with your access code.
Therefore, on one phone, I have a description of all the rooms, including the interior detectors, but I'm unable to reinstall this information on my other phone, and I don't know how to proceed.
In the event of an internet outage, the information you receive on your phone may be incorrect; the system announces the alarm as disarmed when it is actually the opposite...

I've used Ajax for over 6 months
I've used Ajax for over 6 months.
It works everytime, is user-friendly and I feel more secure.
One big thing tho for my concern is connecting it to Home Assistant is a pain in the butt.
It would be nice to simplify it to Home Assistant. :-)

It is great to be part of Ajax security systems. The system is world class and user friendly.
Ever though I am over 60, it was really easy to install and set everything up.

As an installer for Ajax I had an Issue…
As an installer for Ajax I had an Issue registering a Ajax sim card through desktop
Software, they attended to the matter imeadiately and resolve the issue. Only second time I have had to use them but definitely recommend a professional and responsive result

Ajax is probably the most convenient…
Ajax is probably the most convenient solution for home security on the market. I have been using it for several months and have no complaints. I was able to set everything up without any problems, and also integrate a third-party camera into the system using the RTSP protocol. I am satisfied with the purchase.
