Hostinger
When I first heard about Hostinger’s very affordable hosting plans, I suspected this might be yet another web hosting provider that cuts corners just to lure you in with a low price. But when I launched a test website on Hostinger’s servers, I was pleasantly surprised by the results.
SiteGround
My review of SiteGround's shared hosting services turned up more than a few pleasant surprises, including how user-friendly it is to work with. A veteran host, SiteGround has kept up with the times and still has a lot to offer if you’re running a personal blog or an online business.
HostArmada
HostArmada is relatively new to the hosting game, but in a short amount of time it has managed to catch up and surpass some of its bigger competitors. Come for the cute sci-fi-themed plan names, and stay for the excellent loading speeds, inclusive customer experience, and great value.
Northwest Registered Agent
The most impressive things about Northwest Registered Agent are its same-day filing process and its “local” offices in each state. Another is that your order is customizable, as the company only offers one plan with basic services – you choose the add-ons. The only things keeping it from being truly great are pricey upsells and hard-to-reach support, but otherwise, it’s a...
Bizee (Incfile)
ALERT! Incfile has rebranded to Bizee! Bizee (formerly Incfile) has a lot to offer nearly any small business or non-profit startup, with plenty of useful features in fairly-priced plans and no hidden fees. You not only receive the foundational LLC formation service, but you can opt for additional services to help you run your business. File your taxes, create annual...
hosting.com
Hosting.com is the rebranded A2 Hosting, but does it live up to its former name? Sort of – a lot of the features you may remember from A2 Hosting are present here, and you’ll still get great first-time discounts and premium features. However, high renewal costs and uneven performance may give you pause.
GreenGeeks
At first glance, I thought GreenGeeks might be hiding average service behind claims of being the most environmentally friendly web host. Upon a closer look, I found genuinely promising features and plans – as well as a few drawbacks. GreenGeeks' affordable, green web hosting may be right for you, but I’ve outlined some considerations below.
ClickPress
When looking for managed WordPress hosting, a smaller and lesser-known host like ClickPress can easily get overlooked in favor of bigger hosting brands. Well, as our testing shows, that would be a big mistake. This host is well worth giving serious consideration. It may be a little host but it’s capable of serving up some big results.
MyCompanyWorks
My research has led me to conclude that MyCompanyWorks is a reputable and helpful LLC formation service, offering feature-filled but somewhat pricey plans. It is possibly best suited to well-financed beginners. Whether MyCompanyWorks is right for you will greatly depend on what you want and how much you are willing to pay for it.
MyHostingPartner
While I appreciate that MyHostingPartner offers unlimited resources at budget-friendly prices, the limited customer support let me down. If you’re looking for a European host, I wouldn’t recommend MyHostingPartner for beginners who need a lot of help, but experienced site owners might find its affordable, reliable hosting a good fit.
HostPapa
HostPapa delivers decent performance and relatively affordable plans, more so if you happen to catch one of its regular promotion periods. However, it doesn’t offer anything groundbreaking when compared to other hosts. If you want an affordable host with better performance as well as plenty of extra features, give Hostinger a try.
LegalShield
LegalShield is a compelling option for solo or married-couple LLC owners who want legal services or advice on an ongoing basis. Partnership or multi-member LLC owners will have to look elsewhere, though, and some may find the sign-up process a little lacking.
HappyByte
Greece-based hosting provider HappyByte may have the resources and wallet-friendly prices to keep you a happy customer for a long time. The number of resources available for its shared hosting plans are also a pleasant surprise. However, HappyByte’s lack of data centers and Greek-only website may be a deciding factor for your hosting needs.
123 Reg
From advertising "free" features that are only available if you pay annually to non-supportive support and a pretty frustrating onboarding experience, my time with 123 Reg was worthy of a "fail" video on YouTube. If you’re seriously looking for an affordable web host with a good European reach and better service, I suggest you try Hostinger instead.
UltaHost
Although it initially seemed promising, UltaHost left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. Problems arose within days that support was unable to resolve. While it has some redeemable features, I had no choice but to cancel my plan due to the lack of dependable service. In this case, it’s easy for me to recommend our top web hosts for reliable hosting.

10 Best Cheap Web Hosting Providers (Tested in 2025)
Personally, I don't like the word "cheap." In my mind, it connects with images of low quality and poorly delivered services. That’s why, when testing and reviewing budget-friendly web hosting providers, I always look beyond the price to the quality of the service. I've found that in some cases, "cheap" can still mean a good bargain – quality web hosting doesn't always cost a...
Hostinger vs GoDaddy: Which Is Better in 2025?
I wouldn’t blame you if you came here thinking that GoDaddy would be the winner of this comparison. GoDaddy is really popular, and it’s certainly better-known than Hostinger. But I’ve actually tested both services for several months, and I’ll tell you right now that GoDaddy isn’t great. To properly compare Hostinger vs GoDaddy, I’ve looked at everything from pricing to...
10 Best Web Hosting Services for SEO & Better SERPs in 2025
Most web hosts claim that they can boost your website’s SEO, but I’ve tested dozens of services and I can tell you that this is a marketing tactic. Choosing the wrong provider, however, can negatively affect your site's SEO regardless of how good your content might be. You might publish...
7 Best Hetzner Alternatives (That Are Reliable): 2025 Update
Hetzner’s performance doesn’t quite live up to other options on the market, and its outdated control panel can be frustrating to work with. Don’t get me wrong – it’s definitely not a bad hosting service, but you can get better value for your money elsewhere. Still, switching web hosting providers is a big deal. You don’t want to transfer your website(s) across to a new host...

Hostinger vs. Namecheap: The Difference is in the Details in 2025
When it comes to budget hosting, two popular, well-established names that repeatedly come up are Hostinger and Namecheap. But with so many claims of top performance and unbeatable value, how do you truly know which one is right for your project? At first,...
6 Best WordPress Hosting With Free SSL To Secure Sites in 2025
The last thing you want is for your WordPress site visitors to see a “not secure” message with a warning in their browsers when they land on your homepage. All you need to prevent that is an SSL certificate, and most reputable web hosts include free SSL certificates in their hosting plans. While you should have a premium SSL certificate if you are processing payments or...
10 Best DreamHost Alternatives for Reliable Performance in 2025
DreamHost claims to give you everything you need to host a WordPress website, but I tested it over several months and found some major issues. Let’s start with the fact that, DreamHost promises 100% uptime, but its actual uptime records (and customer reviews) tell a different story. Personally, I was disappointed with DreamHost’s performance, not only in terms of uptime,...
Hostinger vs DreamHost: Our Expert Recommendation in 2025
Hostinger and DreamHost are among the most well-known names in web hosting. This popularity doesn’t come purely from being extremely marketing-conscious companies (though, to be fair, also that), but mainly because they’re often considered two of the best budget options on the market. However, when you consider everything you need from a hosting provider, such as...

If you want to take advantage of Linux and all the benefits it brings – better security, versatility, and your choice of scripts – picking the right web host is crucial. After all, Linux is open-source, flexible...
10 Best Cloud Hosting Services – Reliable and Affordable [2025]
The search for cloud hosting that’s right for your specific needs can get pretty confusing. Although more and more hosts are offering cloud hosting solutions, there doesn’t seem to be a single unified model of what cloud hosting services should include. The information isn’t always clear, and sometimes there isn’t even a way of knowing if a cloud hosting service is managed or...
10 Best Web Hosting Services for Multiple Domains in 2025
Choosing a service that doesn’t overcharge for domain transfers, registrations, and server resources is essential when hosting multiple domains. Your host should also provide enough storage and bandwidth for all your websites, and have the resources to guarantee fast loading speeds and good uptime. If you choose the wrong host, you might end up paying extra for features you...
10 Cheapest Email Hosting Services (Safe + Reliable) in 2025
Gmail, Yahoo, and Outlook are great email providers with free accounts, but they don’t scream “professional.” You need a dedicated email server to provide you with the credibility, scalability, reliability, and security you need for your business. At the same time, you shouldn’t have to spend a fortune. My philosophy is that cheap doesn't have to mean low-quality or...
6 Best Mac Hosting Services: Secure & Reliable Options for 2025
In the smartphone world, the iPhone dominates. But when it comes to computing, Apple users are often the minority. Take web hosting, for example. As both a PC and Mac user, I know all too well that users looking for macOS compatibility can’t just purchase any old hosting plan and get started. In fact, you’ll have to find specific hosting plans that support Apple software and...
