Icicles!
I think this week is the first time I’ve seen icicles in Cambridge, pretty cool:
Not only icicles, but I seem to have grown particularly thick crusty grey leg hair… or…
Haircicles!
It was nearly -10°C here overnight, and apparently about -7°C when I started the 40 minute cycle into work – that plus heavy fog leads to the above icy hair phenomenon. I haven’t seen it but I think the same effect occurs on the eyelashes, noticeable when you close your eyes and the lashes seem to stick together! Brrrrr…
