Great dubbing is invisible... and that’s exactly why it works. - - When dubbing is done right, viewers don’t even think about the voice, they get entranced into the story as intended. In a recent example, a new client saw strong click-through, but unusually low watch time on the dubbing they had previously been doing for almost a year! The content is solid, the channel is healthy. They thought: "Other cultures must not be interested in my channel" What was the issue? The other dub did not preserve the creator's work. it cut the emotions, it flattened the background, and the voices didn't match. The Dittodub team created a rerun strategy and within 2 weeks, watch time per language had matched (and even exceeded) the original english viewers. YouTube in 2025 has been interesting. I've had the privilege of working with creators experiencing the most unprecedented growth in the platform's history through Ditto. Here are a few things I have noticed. 1. Top content follows the traditional story curve and isn't confusing. It is highly planned, pulling the viewer along with them. 2. Top content doesn't set new trends, it it filmed and produced so quickly that it can ride what is relevant now and get promoted along with it. 3. Top content is dubbed. The data speaks for itself. I have seen an absurd amount of creators get hockey sticks in the sub count and view count right when they start dubbing, and the slope is directly related to the number of languages they post in.
