The project was successfully delivered as a fully functional AI-powered communication coaching platform across web and mobile platforms. All planned modules, including AI Debate, AI Interview, Public Speaking, Speech Analysis, Progress Tracking, and the Admin Panel, were developed, tested, and deployed. The project was completed through planned development sprints, with tested builds delivered at the end of each sprint, resulting in a production-ready application that met the defined project scope and functional requirements.

We needed help building an end-to-end digital platform, including a multi-restaurant marketplace, ordering and delivery workflow, Stripe integration, restaurant dashboards, and a backend to scale the business nationally.

DianApps has designed and built the full technology stack for our multi-restaurant catering platform. This includes UI/UX design, the development of the customer ordering website, a vendor dashboard for partner restaurants, an admin portal, Stripe Connect integration, menu and order management features, backend APIs, and overall system architecture. 
We’re currently in sprint 3 of a planned 12-sprint build, with DianApps responsible for frontend development, backend development, database setup, QA, and deployment throughout the project.So far, DianApps has delivered the initial discovery work, user flows, and UI/UX designs for the customer ordering experience, restaurant onboarding, and core platform navigation.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Although the platform is still in development, several measurable milestones indicate strong progress. These include the delivery of all major UI/UX design assets, completion of the platform’s core system architecture, and the implementation of early backend APIs. 
Additionally, initial frontend components — such as the customer ordering flow and restaurant onboarding screens — have been developed and reviewed. These completed deliverables demonstrate clear movement through the planned sprints and confirm that the project is tracking against scope.

How did DianApps perform from a project management standpoint?

We’re tracking well against the agreed sprint schedule. Sprint 1 (two weeks) was completed on time and delivered the initial wireframes, user journeys, and platform requirements. Sprint 2 (two weeks) finalized the full UI/UX design system and core backend architecture as planned. Sprint 3 (currently underway) has already produced early frontend components and initial API integrations, aligning with the roadmap established at project kickoff. 
All milestones so far have been achieved within their scheduled timeframes.DianApps has demonstrated strong project management, with organized sprint planning, weekly check-ins, and transparent progress tracking. The measurable outcome was the completion of a fully functional first version of Glagia. All core features — user profiles, feeds, posting tools, search and filtering systems, and AI integrations — were delivered and are working end-to-end. The platform is now stable, internally operational, and preparing for public launch in December 2025.

Overall, I’m very satisfied with the work and don’t have any major areas of improvement to point out. Every large project naturally has small adjustments along the way, but the team was always responsive and willing to refine whatever was needed. For my experience, everything was excellent.

DianApps has built our web application. We created the infrastructure and architecture internally, and they've developed the bulk of the app, primarily front- and backend functionality and some integration work. They've also assisted us on the network and server side. 

Initially, we handed the team an overview document with feature and functionality items. From there, they created the functionality, we reviewed it, and we implemented and deployed the app. They've done various iterations of the app, adding different features and functionalities each time. Most of the time, we provide the wireframes. 

The web app's functionalities include patient booking, consent form-filling, and submission. The pharmacy can see the submissions and patient documentation on their calendar for any clinical service they offer. Patients can create their own accounts to access these services and see their results. For example, patients can submit assessments and reviews, and pharmacists receive them directly.

The app has been successful in the market, with over 10,000 patients using it to schedule pharmacy services. DianApps has delivered what they promised in terms of functionalities. 

How did DianApps perform from a project management standpoint?

They're good at project management, though it depends on the teammates working on the project. Therefore, we've made sure that we have a good team that delivers on time, so we've been successful in the delivery timeline. 

We use Jira for project management and Slack for communication. Additionally, we have daily meetings to check their progress. Internally, I also log information into a spreadsheet. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I'm most impressed with DianApps' skilled and talented teammates. The quality of their development staff is really good and has surpassed our expectations. Moreover, we appreciate their flexibility in providing us with good development backing; when there's an issue, another developer within DianApps will step in. 

Additionally, their understanding of the project is great. The project manager understands our needs and allocates resources with our priorities in mind. They work with me to ensure that the team meets deadlines.

Since I'm very detailed-oriented, I like to have everything perfect within the app, and I've noticed small mistakes. However, the team fixes these mistakes; they're so small that they're not an issue.

DianApp's team first reviewed coding handed over from previous teams and assisted with recovering and gathering the information that was not organised well previously. I was then allocated team members for the initial stages, the app was tested and reviewed by them and a list of deliverables was produced, agreed and discussed for Phase 1.0 of the development. The first phase focuses on getting the handed-over app up-to-scratch for launch and ongoing support.

I spoke to several members of the team from different levels of management. Including the CEO, product owner, and project manager and was introduced to the QA allocated for our project. The team has successfully taken-over the project, and worked with me to gain access of all related components. They have troubleshooted several complications in this process, as well as unexpected challenges for the integrity and security of our website. They have assisted with and successfully claimed unused AWS credits, resulting from unused instances that were causing high monthly costs as a result of work by previous developers. I have received a testflight to review features implemented to date, that were functioning as per scope.

Communication through email, common messaging apps, and basecamp. Shared work files are used for project information, work-sprint lists and records.

They take the time, effort and patience to make sure that everything is explained in leyman terms, and understood by the client. They are responsive, and take pride in their work. The team is professional, skilled, and service-focused. Measurable goals are produced and communicated, also always met within reasonable circumstances.

Problems expressed are always followed-up and resolved, and they are always very responsive. The service received and confidence from this team is something that I have not experienced in my previous developer relationships. They genuinely listen to the client, and deliver.

The project is divided into three milestones, and they missed the deadline for the first milestone by around 10 days.

The delays were corrected in the next milestones and are able to deliver their tasks on time.

We used JIRA to track and manage our project. We communicated through Zoom and WhatsApp.

Our goal was to provide a user friendly experience utilizing barcode scanning lookups instead of manually typing fields. We also wanted to view our results using trending graphs and detailed views.

We reached out to several companies, the main deciding factor was price.

We had a series of discovery meetings to discuss our goals and objectives. They provided wireframes and screen story mockups. From there we went through several sprints for each user story of the app. The app was developed using Flutter and Django and stored on Amazon AWS. The scope of the project changed several times through the project. DianApps accommodated these changes and provided a finished hybrid app for web, ios, and android.

A project manager was assigned as the main point of contact. During sprint deliveries other team members were brought in for meetings.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our app is early in it's go live stage but customer feedback has been positive. Since our app is focused around customer retention rather than new sales and services a measurable outcome is difficult to measure right now.

Communication mainly took place using Basecamp. Sprint discussions, change requests, and deliverables were done under our project for Basecamp. Direct communication was done using WhatsApp for time sensitive discussions.

Communication with the development team was very easy. The did a good job informing me of their progress during each development step and provided timely response to any feedback I had.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

During the development of some user stories a better understanding of our requirements could have been done. A few times I thought we were on the same page but the deliverable did not meet our requirements and work would have to be redone or rebid.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with DianApps?

We wanted to build a cross-platform mobile- and web-based app, but didn't have any internal abilities to execute the project. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

DianApps is developing an application that can be used on iOS and Android and via the web. We've provided a screenshot of the basic design we wanted along with functions and user stories we needed them to integrate into the app. We need payment, scheduling, and locational functionalities — we also need to integrate the API for payroll and end users. There are B2B and B2C sides of the app, but DianApps is integrating both sides into a functional app in Flutter using Python that can work across multiple platforms. They've already completed the project's web design and development portion; they also designed our company website. 

The web and mobile app connect businesses to gig workers on an on-demand basis. Businesses post shifts they need to be filled for workers to sign up for; workers get paid via the app. Essentially, it shares many functions with major ride-share apps. 

What is the team composition?

We work with 10–20 teammates from DianApps, including Shandhir (Project Coordinator), 4–8 developers, and a team of web designers and developers. 

How did you come to work with DianApps?

We were referred to DianApps by another company. 

How much have you invested with them?

We've invested a little over $100,000 with DianApps. 

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement with DianApps began in October 2021 and is slated to end in March 2022. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The app hasn't launched yet, so I don't have any specific metrics. However, we're thrilled with the quality of the products DianApps delivers, their delivery schedule, and responsiveness. Their pricing is very competitive compared to similar companies in the market. 

How did DianApps perform from a project management standpoint?

DianApps uses Basecamp to track the project and is responsive to our messages. Their communication is excellent. We text, web chat, and call to discuss the project, utilizing several platforms, including Google Meet, iMessage, and WhatsApp. DianApps has met every delivery date they've set. They've rectified bugs in the test versions of the app very quickly, usually within 3–5 business days. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

DianApps' doesn't overcommit to a project — they're honest about what they can deliver within a specific timeline. Whatever they promise is precisely what they'll deliver by the set deadline. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't have much experience in the industry, so I don't know exactly what DianApps could improve. However, I think they could improve their exposure in the marketplace. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I'd advise future customers to be honest and realistic with the DianApps team about their projects. Also, it's crucial to weigh their feedback heavily because it's always for a good reason — they have great insights on how to approach tasks.
