The Solar API provides solar data for hundreds of millions of buildings
across the world. Imagery
quality
can be HIGH, MEDIUM, or BASE(Experimental).
HIGH: Solar data is derived from aerial imagery captured at
low-altitude and processed at 0.1 m/pixel.
MEDIUM: Solar data is derived from enhanced aerial imagery captured at
high-altitude and processed at 0.25 m/pixel.
BASE (Experimental): Solar data is derived from enhanced satellite
imagery processed at 0.25 m/pixel.
The Google Maps Platform team is constantly working to improve coverage for our
API services. This interactive map shows where HIGH, MEDIUM, and BASE
quality solar data is available.
