Long-term partnership FAQ

How does billing work?

Hourly credits. You buy a balance upfront, we burn against it as work happens, and you top up when you want to. There is no monthly minimum, no expiration on unused credits, and no contract that locks you in.

How is this different from a retainer?

A retainer locks you into monthly minimums whether you use them or not. Our credit model only charges for work you actually consume. The engagement runs under a Finsweet Service Agreement that frames the partnership without committing you to specific monthly hours.

Do credits expire?

No. Credits stay yours until used. If your team has a slow month, the credits wait. If you have a busy month, you draw down faster and top up.

What is the typical turnaround time?

Standard requests (page updates, new sections, bug fixes) typically ship in 1 to 3 business days. Larger projects get scoped separately. Urgent requests are accommodated when possible. Response time expectations are agreed on during onboarding.

Can we pause or cancel?

Yes. You can pause anytime. There are no termination fees and no contract lock-in. Unused credits stay available when you come back.

Do we get a dedicated team?

Yes. The same designer and developer handle your work across the engagement so they know your codebase. Specialists fold in for specific projects (custom JavaScript, motion, animation) when the work calls for it.

What kinds of work are covered?

Page updates, new sections, A/B tests, campaign work, bug fixes, performance improvements, design refreshes, custom JavaScript, content structure changes. If it lives in Webflow or connects to it, the credits cover it. Larger redesigns and new builds get scoped separately.
