The Prometheus metrics library 1.3.x introduced stricter checks for Prometheus
UNITnames, and it also added a new helper methodPrometheusNaming.sanitizeUnitName(name)for creating compliantUNITnames.This PR updates the dependency version of the Prometheus metrics library, and also calls the new sanitize method to make sure we don't create illegal Prometheus UNIT names.
