Thanks for the detailed report — the network trace was exactly what we needed.
Root cause: this was not a CDN block. The
POST /feedback/submitrequest reached our backend fine; the service returned a real503because the internal guard that checks for the feedback rate-limiter's salt secret was reading it from the process environment directly, while the value is stored in our Credential Store. So even though the secret was correctly configured, the guard couldn't see it and short-circuited the whole form.Fix: the guard now resolves the secret from the same credential-store-first path the rest of the feedback code uses (PR #1892). We've confirmed the secret is present in the store, so the star-rating submission will work as soon as this ships.
Timeline: the fix is merged and rolls out to production tonight. We'll close this issue once it's live. Apologies for the friction, and thanks for flagging it.
