odt2braille is a Braille extension to OpenOffice.org Writer. odt2braille enables authors to print documents to a Braille embosser and to export documents as Braille files. The Braille output is well-formatted and highly customizable.

The BibleGet add-in for Microsoft Word facilitates insertion of Bible quotes from a variety of Bible versions in different languages into your documents, with your preferred text formatting. You can also search for verses by keyword and insert verses from search results into your Word document. BibleGet is a project that aims to make Bible texts available in a data exchange format through a service endpoint, that programs and websites can communicate with in order to import Bible texts into their relative contexts. Other than providing the service endpoint, a number of open source plugins are provided as a proof of concept of how the service endpoint can be put to use (OpenOffice, LibreOffice, WordPress, Google Docs, MSWord). Developers are free to develop similar plugins for other platforms.

StenoMP is a font- and software-package for typesetting text in German stenography and is in an early experimental status by now. StenoMP currently supports "Deutsche Einheitskurzschrift" (DEK), only. The support of "Stolze-Schrey" and "Gabelsberger" is planed. StenoMP is intended to be a tool for typesetting stenography, only; but no automatic text-to-stenography-convertor. For now this project consists of a metapost font-file, only. It is planed to add a software that generates the postscript files of the texts using this metapost code, later.

The changes LaTeX package provides manual change markup for LaTeX documents. The user enters changed text passages with special markup that is transformed into text with a special layout. The package provides a table of changes as well.

pyPdf-GUI is a Python-based graphical user interface for the pure-Python PDF library pyPdf, allowing the user to easily manipulate PDF files. It can extract pages, merge several files into a single one, rotate pages in a file, extract text, etc.
