Buzztrax (formerly known as Buzztard) is a music production environment, based on a very modular approach taking many concepts from trackers a step further. It runs under Linux and is compatible to the windows only and close source software Buzz. The backend is using GStreamer as a multimedia framework. It can use Alsa, Jack, PulseAudio and other audio interfaces.

Give the chord progression and a style and JChordBox generates a song. JChordBox is a library tool that can generate backing tracks from a chord progression and a music style. A music Style is describe using an XML and a MIDI file. You can generate an XML Style file from a MIDI file by adding markers to delimit grooves. An XML Song file describes a chord progression and sets the music style to use. JChordBox comes with several command line tools (GenerateSong, CreateStyleFromMidiFile, SongPlayer …). NEW:The application center is called SongPlayer and is a text based user interface that can play JChordBox song. SongPlayer is a MIDI Player that can loop a song, mute or soloing tracks and displays transport informations. SongPlayer is now the default jar application. NEW:Examples have been added to the distribution package.

This project is to create an updated version of abc2midi, a tool to generate MIDI files from abc music notation. As well as improving the code, the intention is to integrate features from and improve compatibilty with the abc 2.2 standard.

MIDI Master Clock: Simple MIDI Song and Control Change Manager MIDI Master Clock is a lightweight, command-line utility for effortless MIDI device control and synchronization. Automated MIDI Commands: When you select a song, MIDI Master Clock automatically sends: - All specified MIDI Control Changes (CCs), ideal for triggering effects or states. - MIDI Sync Commands (Stop, Song Position Pointer (0), Start) to prepare your devices. - Accurate MIDI Clock signals based on the song's BPM, keeping your gear perfectly in sync.
