gVirtualXRay is a C++ library to simulate X-ray imaging. It is based on the Beer-Lambert law to compute the absorption of light (i.e. photons) by 3D objects (here polygon meshes). It is implemented on the graphics processing unit (GPU) using the OpenGL Shading Language (GLSL). SimpleGVXR is a smaller library build on the top of gVirtualXRay. EduMIPS64 (aka edumips) is a cross-platform MIPS 64 ISA simulator. It can be used to run and debug MIPS programs that are written using the MIPS64 instruction set. It supports visual debugging and lets you see what instructions do in the pipeline.

JMCAD is an program for the modeling and simulation of complex dynamic systems. This includes the ability to construct and simulate block diagrams. The visual block diagram interface offers a simple method for constructing, modifying and maintaining complex system models. The simulation engine provides fast and accurate solutions for linear, nonlinear, continuous time, discrete time, time varying and hybrid system designs. With JMCAD, users can quickly develop software or "virtual" prototypes of systems or processes to demonstrate their behavior prior to building physical prototypes. The user builds his system model by selecting predefined blocks from a block library and simply wiring the blocks together. Each block of the diagram performs a function. Users can also create custom blocks in Java and add them to the JMCAD block library. JMCAD is a block diagram language for creating complex nonlinear dynamic systems.

Genetic Architecture Model Emulator for Testing and Evaluating Software (GAMETES) is an algorithm for the generation of complex single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) models for simulated association studies. GAMETES is designed to generate epistatic models which we refer to as pure and strict, that constitute the worst-case in terms of detecting disease associations, since such associations may only be observed if all n-loci are included in the disease model. User friendly GAMETES software rapidly and precisely generates epistatic multi-locus models, and can generate simulated datasets based on these models. Version 2.0, adds the ability to generate heterogeneous datasets by applying multiple independent models to different subsets of the simulated data. Additionally we have added a custom model generation feature, so that users may directly specify and examine the properties of any 2 or 3 locus SNP model. Simple Mendelian models may also be generated with this feature.
