Hi, This is a follow-up to my earlier e-mail. I found the file: reimp.zip Here's an extract from its readme file. `reimp' is a tool to convert Microsoft's new-style (short) import = libraries to import libraries for win32 ports of GNU tools (mingw32, = cygwin). The URL and contact info is : URL: http://www.acc.umu.se/~anorland/gnu-win32/ Anders Norlander <ano...@he...> If you have trouble trying to download the file, I can e-mail you the = zip file. It's only 30.2KB in size. I've = moved on to using MSVC :) =20 Hi Andy, I've used DevC++ for some development work in the past and I had the = same trouble as you. You can't link to a .lib . You'll need to convert = the .lib file into a .a file which is used in DevC++. There is a utility = program that does this. If I'm not mistaken, I have posted the link to = the file last year. Try searching the list archive. Also, try finding = the link to the file at the MingW website.
