The  problem  is  that  the new vUpdate is the version that can't find
devcpp.cfg! I'll guess that it's using SHGetSpecialFolderLocation with
CSIDL_APPDATA but somehow it will not find the file!!!

Maybe the file has changed name?

I  have  copied  the  devcpp.cfg  file  to the directory specified for
CSIDL_APPDATA  and  since I am on a Swedish Windows I have also copied
it to C:\Docume~1\User\Local Settings\Application Data
But ...

So I, and many with me, would appreciate if someone that has access to
the code can have a look and see what's goin on!
