HI Joeri, Although I'm a Borland fan, in this special case, I think that DevC++ is right. This is named to be: "C++'s most vexing feature" (or some variation of it), by Scott Meyers. If you need the complete discusion, look Item 5 in Effective STL (ESTL). I haven't got the book now, and am in a hurry. But if you need the bibliography do an amazon search. In short, change the line you've mentioned to the following: outport((PORT+TXDOFFSET),(TXDHIGH)); Regards, --Hossein -- __________________________________________________________ Sign-up for your own personalized E-mail at Mail.com http://www.mail.com/?sr=signup CareerBuilder.com has over 400,000 jobs.
