Thank you for pointing out the wxGlade tool. However, I'd like to come
up with something not requiring another library to be linked to the
program but rather a two-way tool as used in Delphi and C++ Builder
and based on standard Win32 API calls.

As for a readable format, I actually do save the dialog in a Windows-like
resource file, although it still needs a lot of work to be completely .RC
compatible. As for reading .RC files, it's also on my list of things to do.
As
I am new to GUI programming without a editor, I am just unsure about
my code and if it is stable or buggy.

Thank you for the feedback, I will certainly look into Glade and am sure
that I will learn a lot from it.
