I am attempting to compile a Dev-C++ version 4.9.8.0 generated C program on my Windows XP machine. Doing a compile I get the following error:- gcc.exe C:\dev\gcc.exe cannot specify -o with -c or -S and multiple compilations Editing the Makefile.win and removing the -c and does not help as Dev-C++ just puts it back, therefore I attempted to compile from the command line as follows and get the following error. C:\dev>\Dev-Cpp\bin\gcc.exe gtk-main.c -o gtk-main.o -I"C:/Dev-C++/include" -I" C:/Dev-C++/include/gtk-2.0" -I"c:/Dev-C++/include/gtk-2.0" -I"C:/Dev-C++/inclu de/pango-1.0" -I"C:/Dev-C++/include/atk-1.0" -I"C:/Dev-Cpp/include" "c:/Dev-C ++/bin/pkg-config.exe" --cflags -mms-bitfields -ansi -traditional-cpp \Dev-Cpp\bin\..\lib\gcc-lib\mingw32\3.2\tradcpp0.exe: invalid option `-std=c89' Will someone please tell me what I have done wrong ? --- Regards, Alf Stockton www.stockton.co.za Stop searching.
