That makes sense. I was thinking the same thing by using getpeername and storing the IP in a string list to be compared later. But still don't understand when am I going to make the comparison of which address is gone. Is it inside the FD_CLOSE? I believe that by the time FD_CLOSE message triggers the socket is already gone. So the question, in other words is, what function will I use to check which IP is gone. I believe inet_ntop only converts the IP to a readable IP. If I use getnameinfo or gethostbyaddr , it's going to take a little while to return to (NOT CONNECTED). _________________________________________________________________ Windows Live™ Hotmail®…more than just e-mail. http://windowslive.com/howitworks?ocid=TXT_TAGLM_WL_t2_hm_justgotbetter_howitworks_012009 |
