Am new to DevC++.
Whenever I try to run a simple program that I've got out of a book,
FAQ etc., which has been compiled successfully, it briefly flashes
up on the screen & disappears . ie. -
#include <iostream.h>
#include <stdlib.h>
int main()
{
cout<<"HEY, you, I'm alive! Oh, and Hello World!";
return 0;
system("PAUSE");
return 0;
}
or : -
#include <iostream.h>
int main()
{
cout << "Hello World!\n";
return (0);
}
Started doing some C++ a while ago and there was a Getche() command
to make the screen stay up - is there something similar ?
If someone can help me out with some sample programs, FAQ's etc., or
tell me where to get them would be greatly appreciated .
Thanks - KenM (k2...@ho...)
