Hi everybody, I also get this error (both 4.0 and 4.01, even before 3.x). It happens somehow randomly but it's related with renaming/adding/removing source files (generally those named Untitled.cpp or Untitled.h, etc) from projects. What I've seen is that when the problem appears in one project it generally stays there (as it is saved as a wrong parameter) so the only solution to get rid of it is create a new project. To avoid the problem what I do is the following: - With Windows Explorer I make a copy of a *.cpp or *.h file and then rename the copy to the name I want. Finally I add this to the project. - I never use the option "Add source" because the bug. Hope this helps. --- Julio Lajara <ju2...@ya...> escribió: > It's the compiler, not your code or your system... > when I run Dev-C++ 4.01 I get that same error every > once in a while.
