In a genre where it is hard to come up with new stories because there are thousands of books about Magicians, this author actually does bring a unique and fresh look to stories using Magicians. A really enjoyable fantasy book and that is all you want. Easy to read, easy to follow the story line. Good vs bad. Book cover is average in my opinion, but story line is good. Well worth reading....more

The book is good, the author does an exceptional job at making the reader feel like they are part of the action, the pace of the story is balanced and moves at a tempo that allows the reader to absorb the information given to them. Sometimes I read books and there are too many things happening at the same time and you get lost in the story, but this book flows well and the story line is very easy to follow. It is very imaginative for its era, mythical elements are everywhere. I do not need to list the plot because I am guessing most people will have seen the movie, the book follows the movie path, there are slight differences that the reader will notice, but that is the fun of reading a book where a movies has been produced, looking for the differences between the book version and the movie version. Conclusion is a good book well worth reading if you like fantasy reading....more

The author does an exceptional job at making the story interesting and surprising. The story is very imaginative and enjoyable and that is all you want in a book. I cannot think of any faults. Maybe shorter chapters might improve the reading experience for the reader, but that is not really important. The book is well written, the story line is easy to follow. I really enjoyed it. The running theme of this story is that the man who the witcher meets, claims his wife had been killed and transformed into a Vampire, the reality was that this man killed his wife when he caught her with her lover. This story took a very unexpected turn to reveal this in the final pages. The additional stories were just as good. The book artwork is done in colour. Well worth reading if you like fantasy themes. No editorial errors that I discovered. the artwork works well with the wordings, the stories are easy to follow....more

This book covers is youth path, and the early years of his adult senior career, The negative is that it is written as Haaland career at the top level is only beginning, thus said it does cover his youth and early years in fine detail and the book is very worth reading. The book cover no pictures. Reading the book gives you a good understand how determined and ambitious the player his I hope the author writes another book about Haaland in 9-10 years when the player is near to the end of his career. Sometimes I think it is better to write books about footballers when their careers finish, but I really do like this book series...more

Whilst the queen drinks wine within one of the great Halls in Kings Landing with other guest as the battle rages outside. The artwork throughout this issue is exceptional, very impressive, rich in detail, The storyline is easy to follow. Main negative, 12 pages of adverts to the rear of the issue, far too many for my liking. Positives excellent front cover, and the artwork throughout the story is of exceptionally high quality. 99% of this issue is based indoors within castles, and the colouring used by the designers create a darker internal environmental feel in a clever way. Enjoyable, maybe this issue is a bit slow moving, but still loved it. ...more

The story line passes through three different environments (Sansa, Bran, Jon) and the creators have made excellent colouring combinations in each of these three environments, so that the reader can visualize these changing environments. From brighter colouring choices for the environment of kings landing, to duller, darker choices for the Northern Realm, the issue starts with Sansa in Kings Landing being saved from a much harder beating than what she actually endures. The issue then switches to Bran in Winterfell, who tries to open his third eye but does not know how at this stage. To finally Jon, who finds an easy to defend location for his army to make camp. Only negative allot of advertisement to the rear of the issue....more

No editorial errors. No negatives for me....more
