Fast Paced

We met with management to find out anything new we need to know and find out our quotas for the shift. Picking items for customer's orders. Management is great. No micromanaging, excellent training. Perks are daily pay , choose a schedule that works for you, and you can wear approved headphones in certain warehouses and certain positions.

Pay is good

Pay is good and the goal is to get into A GOOD department/team. Amazon is too big to say it's great or sucks. It is HEAVILY dependent on the ORG and your manager. For example, some love to walk the company line of 5 days a week in office and act as if it's a criminal act to work remote for a day or so. Others are much more lenient regarding in office work requirements (ie. easily informing mgr you...

Amazon has excellent employee benefits but overall the pay is low for the amount of work required. Amazon prefers hiring college grads and offers limited upward mobility for older employees.
