Agent Analytics is available now in beta! Your agent runs thousands of sessions. Agent Analytics shows which ones failed, what those failures cost in retention and conversion, and what happened to those users afterward. Once you find a problem, you can filter by failure type, ship a fix, and measure the impact. All without leaving Amplitude. https://bit.ly/4xynfFl

Stopping national logo emergencies since 2026.
So many things are launching lately that make me think: damn, I wish I had this before. I even get annoyed that no one will ever experience the same deep character-building pain I went through figuring this stuff out manually. For example, Amplitude just released Zoning Insights - a feature for website conversion optimization that shows you how specific parts of a page are converting, right on the live page. Obviously best used when an exec declares a national emergency over making the homepage logo bigger, changing the CTA button to one very specific shade of blue, or adding “AI-powered transformation platform” to the headline. But now you can just respond with actual data. And maybe even launch an AB test before replying. This sounds so obvious. But it has been weirdly hard forever. Evals are becoming part of the product manager craft, the same way reading a funnel chart or a SQL query was in 2015. AI agents don't behave like the products we learned to measure. Users type intent into a chat box, the agent calls tools and retrieves context, and the output changes from one run to the next. Click-and-form analytics never sees inside that. Evals are how you measure it: repeatable tests that score an agent's output against your quality bar and run on every change. The part most teams underrate is the last mile. A high pass rate tells you the model performed on a test set. It doesn't tell you whether good agent interactions drive retention, whether failures concentrate in your highest-value segments, or whether your most expensive queries are also your lowest-converting. You answer those by joining eval scores to product engagement under the same user identity. I put together a getting-started guide for PMs covering traces, LLM judges, offline vs online evals, and how to wire eval scores to outcomes. Link in the comments.
