Transition Phase for Indian Cricket Team

Indian cricket team recently lost a test series against England, fueling speculation about an impending transition phase or period of decline. Several former cricket legends are calling for changes to the team, with Sunny Gavaskar suggesting it's time to look to the future and replace captain MS Dhoni, citing Kohli as a talented replacement. However, Kohli just had a good performance under pressure, similar to Dhoni, so it's unclear if replacing Dhoni as captain will solve India's problems or negatively affect Kohli. This could be a time of significant transition as many great players like Dravid, Tendulkar, Ganguly, and Laxman have retired.

Jeopardy or Transitional Phase Team India

The inception of transition phase is around the corner or its yet another span of destitution for Indian cricket team which keeps the spectators waiting and waiting? Speculations like these got its zenith as Indian team lost to England, 2-1, in much hyped Test Series also referred to as Badla The Revenge by many. It is always natural to feel for the spectators since Cricket in India is treated like a religious carnival and the playing 11s (at the time of roller-coaster ride, mind you) are Avatar of our mythological characters as they have been undergirding their Team India aka Team Blue for quite some time now, even their homage and fealty toward the Cricketing Gods have limits and patience.

Furthermore yielding the agony to them are the comments of our Cricketing Legends, Be it Jimmy Amarnath, Bedi (though I personally think he just waits for these situations to put his nose inLets just keep him outta it for some logical whys and wherefores.) or even our former little master Sunny Gavaskar himself. They all are singing a song A song which is in perfect harmony For example, As Mr. Gavaskar quotes its time the selectors look to the future as MSD seemed out of sorts in the series. And his obvious replacement is none other

than talented Kohli, who is also the vice-captain of the team, and it takes just one inning (in trying conditions) of the vice- captain to convince him to think that way as per his sayings. But the little master has just forgotten that even the incumbent captain had performed utterly the same (one short of hundred) in same sorts of trying conditions and the pressure was immense for incumbent compare to his successor. Plus, the kind of form Virat is in, isnt it so much of ask to lead the team in this jeopardy will it affect his performance and will it be logical for Team India? There have been so much of stake and it is radically the time of transition, since weve lost almost our Fabulous Four viz., Dravid, Tendulkar, Dada and Very-2 special Laxman. On the positive note, I would like to conclude this piece of the writing by a maxim saying to whomever it may concern ( May be a foreign coach - I know you hardly move but your tactics are far slower than your movements) - A terrified King can never be the Torch Bearer of a Realm clouded and haunted by Darkness .
