Internship Completion Certificate Guidelines

Supervisors are requested to instruct students to ensure their internship completion certificates follow certain guidelines, otherwise the internship will not be evaluated. The guidelines state that the department only requires an internship report in CD format, but supervisors may ask for a hard copy for their records. The internship period must be at least 42 days including holidays, though 40 days may count if the last day is a Friday and upcoming holidays are included. Guidelines for Internship Completion Certificates

All the supervisors are requested to instruct the students to ensure the following points are considered for Internship Completion Certificates. Otherwise their Internship will not be considered for evaluation.

1. Department only requires internship report in the form of CD, however supervisor may ask student for hard copy for his own record (not compulsory). 2. Internship period should must be of at least 42 days including holidays, however if a student ends up with 40 days Friday being the last day then upcoming 2 holidays will only be counted in case student had started his/her internship from Monday. 3. Internship start and end date should be mentioned clearly in the letter. 4. Issuance date on Internship letter should be mentioned. 5. Issuance date should not be before the ending date of their Internship period. 6. Issuance, Start and End date of Internship period should be a WORKINGDAY. 7. Internship period should not overlap with either classes or Exam. 8. Internship completion certificates should be on proper Letter Head of that company.
