Introduction
The recreational sports co-
curriculum for [Link] (TESL) is
developed to prepare future
teachers as a whole optimizing the
psychomotor, cognitive and affective
development besides improving the
pedagogical knowledge in primary
school education.
Objectives
The syllabus of the co-curriculum
(recreational sports) helps students
to :
1. be prepared for self development
based on leisure and fun in learning
through recreational sports.
2. equip oneself with knowledge and
basic skills in co-curriculum, as well
as apply knowledge and basic skills in
recreational sports
3. develop and cultivate values as well as
cultural and artistic elements,
community service, environmental
education, patriotism, racial unity and
national integrity.

4. gain various experience through
active involvement in recreational sports
and
5. improve self ability in usage of
multimedia and technology facilities
towards the excellence of education
through co-curriculum
