Brief History
InfoworX Incorporated was formed on February 8, 1996. Four friends who have been in
the computer business as an extra curricular activity decided to formalize the business and put up
a small computer rental shop along R. Papa Street, Manila. By the following year, there was a
demand from references and clients for Infoworx to supply hardware as well. In a strategic
move, InfoworX moved its head office to Makati City, its current address.
The following years saw the stakeholders opening more sister companies. Dataworx
Office Solutions Corporation was established in August 1999 in Olongapo City. Digiworx
Computer and Office Solutions Inc. was formed in 2001. Two more stores, PC Worx IT Solutions
(Gilmore QC) and PC Worx SM Clark (SM Clark, Angeles) were opened in August 2004
and April 2006, respectively.
While each company / store operates autonomously, purchasing is centralized with
Infoworx.
To increase efficiency of operations, the group formed WX Dynamics Inc, a Service
Center based in Gilmore Quezon City in early 2006.
