April 2011 Patrol Watch Log Summary

110421-2211-01 Driving While Impaired 7920 Sam Furr Rd:


Tanya Adair Martin W/F DOB 11-08-1985 was arrested for Driving While Impaired on a traffic stop.

110421-2058-01 Driving While Impaired 26351 block of I-77:


Melanie Jean King W/F DOB 4-27-1956 was arrested for Driving While Impaired after being involved in a one
vehicle traffic crash on the I-77 southbound off ramp to Sam Furr Rd.

OTHER INFORMATION:

110421-1857-01 Breaking & Entering 14923 Colonial Park Dr:


Someone entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and removed a GPS unit and several compact discs.

110421-1924-01 Communicating Threats 109 Walker St:


A brother and sister at this location had a verbal argument. The brother communicated threats to
his sister and left the scene.

110421-1955-01 Dog Bite 10000 Kerns Rd:


A 14 month old was bitten by a Boxer at this location and taken to Huntersville Presbyterian Hospital. The 14
month old had a severe laceration to the right side of his head. The injuries were not life threatening and he was
treated and released from the hospital.
110421-2028-01 Larceny 9721 Rose Commons Dr:
Someone removed a laptop from a storage unit at this location. There was no forced entry to the storage unit
and an employee is suspected of the larceny.

110422-0001-01 Breaking & Entering 12806 Levins Hall Rd:


A patrol officer noticed an interior light on in a parked vehicle. The officer investigated the light and observed
the glove box open with the contents removed. The officer knocked on the door of the residence and asked the
victim to check through his vehicle for anything missing. The victim said the only thing missing was a
container with his insurance card and registration.

110422-0006-01 Assault 7701 Dinniston Dr:


Neighbors at this location were arguing about an ongoing problem with someone ringing a door bell late at
night and running off. Both parties accused the other of assault but no one wanted to prosecute the other.
