Romantic summer scarf

Materials:
Worsted weight yarn in 2 colors
Crochet hook 5,5mm or I
Needle

This is the pattern of an easy, very quick and light summer scarf. Lovely for
those chilly nights or to complete your outfit. It’s also makes a nice present
because it can be made in about two hours!

1: Ch 131, make sure to chain very losely, this chain is about the size your scarf is going to be, so test
the length!

2: sc15, 15hdc, 20dc, 30tr, 20dc, 15hdc, 15sc.

3: Ch1, 14 sc, 2hdc in next st, 14hdc, 2dc in next st, 19dc, 2tr in next st, 29tr, 2tr in next st, 19dc, 2dc in
next st, 14hdc, 2hdc in next st, 13sc.

4: Ch2, sk2, dc in next, ch2, dc in same as precious dc, *sk2, dc in next, ch2, dc in same* repeat for
entire row, end with sk2, dc.

5: Ch2, dc in each stitch for entire row.

6: Change to white: sc all around scarve.

7: Edging: *sc, ch2, 1 picot, ch2, sk2, sc* repeat until you reach the
corner, *sk2, 3dc in next, 1 picot, 2 dc in same st (total of 5 dc in one
stitch), sk2, sc in next*continue for the rest of the scarf (around all 3
remaining sides).

Cast off and weave in ends.

Notes:
*For round 3, 4 and 5 the beginning chain counts as first stitch (so you skip the first one).
*This pattern is worked flat until round 6, round 6 and 7 are worked in the [Link] beginning chain
isn’t used until round 6. For round 6 you sc around all sides of the scarf. For round 7 you start the
edging on the “curved” side and end with the second type of edging on the side of the beginning chain.
