The content provider must agree to make the channel available on a Free To Air basis (this eliminates any
channels/content that are currently being distributed on PayTV over West Africa)
Ability to contribute broadcast-ready content or remote playout, ie. No IPTV content
Quality, must be better than 1.5 Mbps SD, preferably plans to contribute HD now or in future. MPEG-4 is essential
Ability to provide EPG metadata in the required format
Service to be received on any FTA STB with DVB-S2 capability.

Basic playout solution for SD channels.
- operated by broadcaster, hosted and monitored by MX1
- Content: MPEG-2 and H.264 supported, MXF or MOV container. Content upload via web.
- Storage: 2 TB, suited for approx. 300 hours of SD content.
- Graphics: channel logo, static text and graphics.
- Playlist creation via cloud-based application for frame accurate scheduling, incl. support for secondary events, e.g.

Terms and Conditions
Video Platform: West Africa Platform (DVBS-2 QPSK, 30 Msps, 5/6).
Satellite: Astra-2F @ 28.20 E.
Free to Air and coverage over Nigeria and West Africa.
Contract term: Five (5) years.
Prices quoted are exclusive of any applicable local taxes including that of withholding taxes.
Two month security deposit is required prior to service activation.
Payment is monthly in advance.
Two separate contracts will be issued for capacity (SES) and ground services (MX-1).
Coverage over Europe or The Americas is available at additional cost.
