POWERPLAY P16-D Controls POWERPLAY P16-D Getting started

P16-D Basic Setup
1. Connect the P16-D to a power outlet using the included IEC power cable. Doing this allows all P16-HQ mixers to be powered by the P16-D. No additional wall
(1) (2) (3) (4) adapters are needed.
2. Make sure the P16-D is powered off. Using a shielded CAT5e cable, connect the ULTRANET SOURCE device (such as X32, MR18, P24HUB and more) to the leftmost
RJ45 port labelled ULTRANET IN, on the front panel of P16-D.
3. Connect shielded CAT5e cables from the 8 ULTRANET OUTPUTS on the front panel of P16-D to each P16-HQ or P16-M mixer or other Ultranet receiver (such as a
P24HUB, Midas DN4816-O or KlarkTeknik DN4816-U). For best results, each CAT5e cable should not exceed 75 meters in length.
4. Power on the P16-D.
5. The LEDs above each ULTRANET IN and ULTRANET OUT connector will illuminate to show connectivity and signal.

(5)

1. ULTRANET IN input accepts signals from other POWERPLAY 16 devices using shielded CAT5 cable.
2. ULTRANET OUTPUTS connect the P16-D with up to eight P16-HQ personal mixers or P16-D distribution hubs. Each output sends out 16 tracks of using
shielded CAT5 cable.
3. ON LED lights when the device is powered up using the POWER switch.
4. POWER switch turns the unit on and off.
5. POWER SOURCE jack accepts the included IEC power cable.
