BACKGROUND

Born and raised in Canada. Permanent Resident (green card holder) in the U.S. Director of Contracts Monogram Systems (Carson, CA) Aerospace company that develops, manufactures, markets and sells water waste systems and galley insert equipment to all major aircraft manufacturers and airlines worldwide. Head of the Contracts Department, reporting directly to the president and supervising two lawyers and two Contract administrators. Lead negotiations and drafting of contracts with customers and suppliers for products and services (mainly purchase, supply, product support and non-disclosure agreements). Contracts deal with all aspects of the transaction (e.g. technical, commercial, intellectual property, product support and legal). I have finalized some contracts valued in excess of one hundred million dollars. Experience negotiating contracts with major aircraft manufacturers such as Boeing, Airbus and Embraer, as well as major airlines. Experience dealing with export/import issues (ITAR) and government regulations, including FAR/DFAR issues. Provide answers and support for all contractual issues that may arise regarding existing contracts. This involved setting up a distribution network and required legal (contracts), sales and marketing skills, working both with distributors and end customers. Increased sales revenues 300% in my territory. Negotiated and drafted distribution and purchase contracts. Trained distributors to successfully market and sell products. Ensured after-sales customer satisfaction by making sure that all aftersales problems were dealt with properly. Developed marketing strategy and materials. Prepared offers, covering all commercial and technical aspects of transactions.
