Career Highlights
Since Novemeber, 1992 working with Reliance Industries Ltd., Hazira,
India. Presently, working as an Executive (Mechanical-Maintenance)
(PTA Plant). The Reliance Group is India’s largest business house with total
revenues of Rs. 1,50,000 crores. The group’s activities span exploration &
production (E&P) of oil & gas, refining/ marketing, petrochemicals (polyester,
polymers, and intermediates), textiles.
− Nov.’92 to May-94.’- Worked as a trainee technician – mechanical in
POLYETHELENE Plant of Reliance Industries Ltd., Hazira, Surat.
− May-94 to July-2003 – Worked as a technician – mechanical in
POLYVENYL CHLORIDE Plant of Reliance Industries Ltd., Hazira,
Surat.
− July-2003 to Nov-2005- worked as an Executive –Mechanical in
RELPIPE Plant , ( 20 Lines of HDPE Extruders ) of Reliance
Industries Ltd., Hazira, Surat.
− Nov-2005 to July-2006 – worked as a Project Engineer for
construction of 750 KTA , PTA Production plant. of Reliance

PE, PVC plant – Worked as mechanical technician & involved in
commissioning , project work & Maintenance & overhauling of all type
Rotating & static equipments Like Dryer, Agitators, Centrifugal pumps,
Centrifugal compressor, Reciprocating compressor, Reciprocating pumps &
compressors., centrifuge, gear boxes , and worked exclusively for trouble
shooting of Mechanical seals.

Current Job Role
− Planning (Day to Day, Weekly & Monthly Plans) and effecting Preventive
Maintenance Schedules of various equipments to increase Equipment
Reliability; thereby accomplishing planned production targets.
− Raising purchase requisitions for routine maintenance and reliability
centered jobs , material and services planning for turnaround jobs .
− Reports generation on regular basis , to keep monitoring of the inventory
levels ,unavailability of material , task based material requirement
mapping , quality checks of the received material , tracking of the receipts,
consumption, inventory , availability , reliability of the plant.
− Cataloguing of the new spares, On-going specification check , changes if
required.
− Involved in RCA’s ( Root cause analysis for failures, shortcomings etc. )
Identifying scope for User for SAP PM and MM modules.
SAP-PM Activities
o Preparation of yearly PM schedule, Preparation of weekly job
schedule, Preparation of Failure reports (FIR/FAR), PM Order
scheduling (Resource planning), Notification/PM Order cycle
completion, History updating.
SAP MM Activities
o Preparation of Material Master, PR creation & Follow up, Acceptance of
goods received & Preparation of material receipts, consumption and
inventory levels.
Routine/Shutdown Planning
− Includes Preventive / Predictive Maintenance Plans creation, Job list
preparation, Work Breakdown Structure creation, Material, Manpower &
Resource Planning, Continuous monitoring, Reliability checks.
− Coordinating material / spare parts planning related activities encompassing
identification of vendors, requirement specification & offer evaluation.

External Contracts Handling
− Involved with developing of External Contracts including activities like
preparation of Contract scope of work, Technical Evaluation, Contracts
control system & Contracts Evaluation system.
Project Management
− Handling project activities for set up/ expansion, involving working out
various requirements with respect to utilities, machines, and manpower &
handling related operations.
− Handled Erection & Commissioning of various Equipment to ensure the
completion of projects within stipulated time/ cost parameters.
Maintenance Activities handled.
− Centrifugal pumps, reciprocating pumps, diaphragm pumps, screw
pumps, vacuum pumps of different make like Sulzer, kirloskar, KSB,
sundyne, Milton Roy etc.
− Reciprocating compressor- Burton Corblin make, centrifugal
compressors- Elliott make, Rotary filters-Steri Technology, centrifugal
blowers, agitators.
− Various types of mechanical Seals like Inboard, Outboard, single,
double arrangement and back to back with different types of flushing
plans.
− Various types of storage tanks including cryogenic material storage
tanks, spheres bullets and cylindrical tanks.
− Loading /unloading arms for hydrocarbon and other chemicals at Tank
farm.
− Reactors, Pressure vessels, various types of heat exchanges &
columns, filter press.
− Incineration system, absorber, scrubber systems for process vent
gases.
− Ball valves, plug valves, butterfly valves, diaphragm valves, gate
Valves, and globe valves.
Achievements:
Worked on deputation for Annual Shutdowns at various plants of the
complex.
Having handled the de-bottlenecking activities in an expansion project of
New down stream equipments to polymer Extruder and die-heads , starting
from erection, commissioning ,and stabilization phase.
Worked for Construction and Erection of 21000INM alloy steel ( P91) piping ,
in 95days record time from ground inspection of pipe components to
Hydrotest , and commissioning in stipulated time.
Worked as an MRP controller with sole responsibility of material
management for a turnaround job of 02 PTA plants in gap of 03 months.
