ormal letter. Job application.

Hi there. I wrote the formal letter for the job application. Could you check if there is no grammar
or stylish mistakes? And if there are some, could you correct them, please? Thank you a lot in
advance!
My letter:
Dear FirstName LastName,
I am writing to apply for a position of journalist/correspondent at Your international magazine
"Z". I am passionate about the article writting and would like to contribute my skills of
journalism to Your practice.
To begin with my name is FirstName LastName. I am X years old high-school graduate in my
homecountry Lithuania. I have been working as a journalist in the best Lithuania's business
magazines for a two years. I have a wide experience in various business topics writting.
Furthermore I saw that You do not have any correspondents from Lithuania, yet. This is one of
the reasons why I would be glad if I could bring You some new ideas and view from my country.
Journalism is my bigest passion, which go along with me since I learnt to write :)
Eventually I would be glad if I can realise myself in an international space, writting on business
and other topicalities.
I enclose my C.V. and would be grateful if I could be considered for any such position You may
have.
I am looking forward to hear from you.
Yours sincerely,
FirstName LastName
It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I am writing to endorse Alice's
application to your program. For the last 25 years at Blackmore University, I have
been an ethics professor, as well as mentor to many interns and business students.
I hope my perspective will be helpful to you as you evaluate this exceptional
candidate.
My first contact with Alice was during the summer of 1997,when she organized a
summer conference outside of Los Angeles for teenagers interested in
communication skills. During the course of the week, Alice presented material with
such ease and humor that she set the tone for the entire workshop. Her creative
ideas for presentations and activities were inventive and entertaining; they were
also astonishingly effective.
With participants from a variety of backgrounds, there was often conflict, and
occasionally confrontation. While setting limits, Alice managed to respond

consistently with respect and compassion. The experience had a profound effect on
the participants and, because of Alice's exceptional skill and professionalism, she
has been invited by many schools to offer similar management workshops
During the time I have known Alice, she has distinguished herself as a conscientious
and energetic pioneer in the fields of leadership and management. I have enormous
respect for her teaching and leadership skills, and have been pleased to work with
her on many occasions.
I know of Alice's continued interest in programs related to leadership and
management development. She has instituted many impressive programs for her
peers, and it has been an honor to consult with her on some of these projects. I
have the greatest admiration for her work.
Your program of study sounds ideally suited to Alice's needs and talents. She will be
coming to you with the qualities of a natural leader: genuineness, intelligence, and
integrity. She will also bring her interest in scholarly research and program
development. Just as importantly, she would come with an enthusiasm for both
learning and networking, as well as a resolute desire to understand new theories
and ideas. It is exciting to think of the ways in which she might contribute to your
program.
I urge you to carefully consider Alice who is, quite simply, the most remarkable
young leader I have ever met.

Sincerely,
Professor Aries St. James Blackmore University

Sir,
I'd like to offer my sincerest apology for being late those 3 days in the month of October 2011 to
attend the office. and accept full responsibility for my actions. Though this was due to
uncontrollable circumstances e.g. Traffic Jam, I understand my duty to be on time and will make
every effort to restrain any issue that would restrict me from arriving to office in a timely manner
in the future.

Subject: Letter to apologize for the late payment of bills.
Dear Mr. Josh Wilson,
Through this letter, I apologize to you for the inconvenience caused to you, owing to the late
payment of bills from my side. This was not intended, and considerable loss in business due to
office relocation issues has made it impossible for me to pay the bills on the discussed date.
This is the first instance that our organization has not cleared the bills on time, and we would
really appreciate it, if you give us an extension of one month to pay the dues. I assure you that I
will pay back all my dues on_____(date). I sincerely regret this delay in the payment of bills, and
promise you that I would make sure such a delay doesn't occur in the future. Thanking you.
Yours sincerely,
Andy Reynolds
