WINTERS, K. L.
The female suspect, RG, is the daughter of the IO and is the girlfriend of the male
suspect, AT. They lived with the IO until about one month ago, when they were
both incarcerated. After being released, they came to the IO`s apartment to get
their belongings that were left there when they were arrested. The victim, SS,
works for the apartment management and she was cleaning the apartment next
door to the IO when the suspects, along with a w/m known only as "Trevor",
walked into the apartment she was cleaning and told her they wanted to check on
the IO because she wasn`t answering the door. While they were standing in the
apartment, RG looked down and saw a purse belonging to SS. She told SS that
was her purse and SS told her that it was not. After a brief exchange, they all went
next door to the IO`s apartment so SS could try to assist the suspects contacting
her; at some point before they went to get SS, one of the suspects kicked open the
IO`s door. Apparently the IO was bathing and did not hear the suspects knocking
and SS was able to talk to her to tell her that the suspects were there and when the
IO walked into the living room, the suspects kind of demanded their property. She
told them that she would get their things together and contact them when she was
ready; the suspects walked out and SS stayed to chat with the IO. When she
walked back to the other apartment to continue cleaning, she saw the suspects
walking to their car, which she thought was odd because they had left several
moments earlier. When she got in to the apartment, which she had left open, she
saw that her purse was gone.
