Indian Trails Camp Camp Counselor
May 2016-Current
I worked at a Camp with campers with disabilities. I and 4 other counselors
stayed in a cabin with our campers. We had up to 10 campers in our cabin
at a time. The ability levels of our campers were very diverse. We had to do
personal care, and supervision.
ESA PARA PRO
May 2014-Current
I work in Special Education classrooms in the Midland Public Schools. I work
one on one with students with special needs in grade Pre K-12. I help them
with daily routines and assignments.

Summer 2013-Summer 2014
I made sure kids were safe, following the rules and having fun. I also did a
lot of miscellaneous work such as; bag checks, cleaning and guest service.

I am in my Senior year at Grand Valley majoring in Special Education. I

Camp Neyati After being a camper at Neyati for years I


volunteered as a counselor for a few summers.
Best Buddies At Grand Valley I have gotten involved in
the club Best Buddies. We are partnered up with a student
whom is special needs, from the area and serve as a friend
for them.
Camp Sunshine - For the last two summers I have worked
as a one on one counselor with campers who have a
disability

worked as a counselor at Camp Sunshine, and at Indian Trails
Camp
