This chapter summarizes the project, which achieved its objective of designing a fuzzy logic controller for a washing machine. The controller used Mamdani-style inference with 27 rule sets and three inputs and outputs. To improve the project, future work could increase the number of inputs and outputs to provide more advantages to users, and use Sugeno-style inference instead of Mamdani.

CONCLUSION

5.1 INTRODUCTION
This chapter summarizes the whole project and recommends ways to improve this
project for the future research.
5.2 CONCLUSION
As a conclusion, the objective of this project has been achieved which to design a
programmable controller using fuzzy logic technique for washing machine. The result
discuss in the previous chapter shown that this project is a success.
The parameter of this project is as follows:
a) Use Mamdani-style as the fuzzy inference system
b) Consists of 27 sets of rule
c) There are three inputs and three outputs for this system

5.3 RECOMMENDATION
From this project, the future work that can be recommended is the input and output of
this system can be increased to provide more advantages to the users. This project is also can
be done using Sugeno-style for the fuzzy inference.
