1.1.1 Nomination by Customer


Different fabric mills develop fabric and present it to customer in exhibitions. Customer selects
some finishes and recommend garment manufacturer to buy fabric from a nominated customer.
1.1.2 Fabric/Header Receiving
If fabric is being produced by local industries of Pakistan, then before dispatch of fabric rolls to
garment industry, headers of 1-meter length are sent for fabric shrinkage and shade variation.
Commercial department receives headers and handover it to FID for further process.
IF fabric is being imported, then fabric mill send fabric rolls and fabric store cut headers of 1-
meter length for shrinkage and shading purpose.

1.1.3 Marking for Leg and Blanket


For making leg, a template of 60*60 cm2 is used for this purpose. Template is placed on header
fabric and traced.
